“The Role Of Spirituality In Recovery From Addictions” is the title of a program to be hosted by Linden Road Presbyterian Church on April 18th at 6:30 p.m. Our community has a huge problem with addictions of all types and very little treatment available in Richland and surrounding Counties. Those who attend will hear about how “with God’s grace and through him, the bonds of addiction can be broken“. Freddy Robles who currently serves as a clinical therapist at Catholic Charities Services in Wayne County will be the keynote speaker. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor by the State of Ohio Counseling, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. In addition, he holds a license as a Chemical Dependency Counselor by the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board. Mr. Robles’ clinical experience includes treating a diverse population ranging from early adolescence into late adulthood for various mental, emotional and addictive disorders. Prior to Catholic Charities he worked extensively with people in the legal system who were considered at high risk of re-offending and/or relapse. His experience includes coordinating medication assisted treatment for clients struggling with Opioid Addiction. Mr. Robles has worked in both non profit and private sectors..
