A Taste of Crawford County

The Crawford County Farm Bureau, in partnership with the Crawford County Cattlemen's Association and the Bucyrus and Galion-Crestline Chambers of Commerce, will celebrate the role local farmers play in the local, national, and global food systems with their first-ever A Taste of Crawford County. The event will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2013, from 5pm to 8pm in the Youth Building on the Crawford County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $8 for Farm Bureau members and $10 for non-members.
A Taste of Crawford County will offer a unique opportunity for the community to gather with farmers, eat delicious, locally produced food, and talk about the role of local farmers in a variety of economies. The event will begin at 5:00pm with tastings of locally produced foods. At 6:00, there will be a catered potato bar with a variety of toppings, followed by a moderated panel discussion with audience questions on the role agriculture plays in today's society.
Tickets are available at area Chambers of Commerce or by calling 800-327-6055. A portion of the proceeds of the event will be donated to area food banks.
