Is your business or organization interested in learning how to build an internship?  The Richland Community Development Group (RCDG) invites you to a free information session on the advantages of engaging college interns in your business.

The event will be held October 30, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center, 890 West Fourth Street, Suite 600, Mansfield, Ohio 44906.

Talk with educators, students and employers who have realized the personal and community benefits of offering internships.

* What is an internship and how would my organization benefit?
* How do I find the resources to design an internship program?
* Finding an intern candidate.
* Making the most of the internship program.

Presenters scheduled to participate include:

* Dr. Khushwant Pittenger - Professor of Business & Economics, Ashland University
* Monty Friebel - President, Cooper Enterprises
* Tim Bowersock - Economic Development Director, City of Mansfield
* Glenna Cannon - Superintendent, Pioneer Career & Technology Center
* Current and Former student interns

This event is free and open to any area business. It is part of the Richland Community Development Group's effort to impact the workforce issues of our area and is funded in part by a grant from the Richland County Foundation.
